- If you’re closer to the Little Falls Public Library, head south on Stevens Ave, then turn left onto Pompton Ave. Turn right onto Fairview and then left into our business park just there on the corner.

Cedar Grove has a rich history dating back centuries, when the area was part of the Horseneck Tract, a large territory encompassing present-day Caldwell, West Caldwell, North Caldwell, Fairfield, Verona, Essex Fells, Roseland, and portions of Livingston and West Orange. In 1702, settlers purchased this 14,000-acre tract from the Lenape. The area earned its distinctive name from its irregular shape, which resembled a horse’s neck and head, and stretched from the First Mountain to the Passaic River.
Originally a quiet farming community, Cedar Grove began to evolve in the late 19th century. The township was officially incorporated in 1908, and throughout the 1950s and 1960s, it became a popular suburban destination for families seeking to escape the hustle of Newark and New York City. During this era, Cedar Grove gained cultural significance as home to Frank Dailey’s Meadowbrook Ballroom on Route 23, which hosted legendary performers including Frank Sinatra, Glenn Miller, and Buddy Rich. The historic ballroom building still stands today along the old Pompton Turnpike and now serves as Sts. Kiril & Methodij Macedonian Orthodox Church, preserving an important piece of Cedar Grove’s vibrant past.
